1996 Quicksilver National Enduro

The pin proclaims that this was the 25th Annual Quicksilver, but, truth be known, the 1996 Quicksilver Enduro was actually the 24th Annual event.  Just as many high-rise buildings do not have 13th floors, the Quicksilver did not have a 13th Annual.  The enduro committee decided in 1985 to list that year's Quicksilver as the 14th Annual when in fact it was the 13th.  You can check out the flyers for the 1984 and 1985 events and see how we skipped a year!
